Oksana Gritsayeva’s sixth victory in a row is probably the top news of the sixth game day of the RSSU Cup, 2017 Moscow Open. In the Women’s Veteran Cup Galina Strutinskaia lost the first half of a point. In the sixth round the player from Moscow played in a draw with Elena Krasenkova, also from Moscow. However, the chess player from the capital with 5,5 points is keeping a one-point lead from her closest chasers. Ludmila Saunina (Ekaterinburg), Elena Krasenkova (Moscow) and Elena Sazonova (Tyumen) scored 4,5 points.
Six participants show the best result in the RSSU Amateur Cup: Roman Kvitka (Saratov region), Artem Tabaryan (Abkhasia), Evgenij Shuvalov (Moscow), Ruslan Murtazin (Tatarstan), Sergey Tunik (Kemerov region) and Evgeny Muslimov (Saratov).
