The 13th in succession International RSSU Chess Cup Moscow Open will be held in the Russian State Social University from January 26 to February 6, 2017. The total guaranteed festival prize fund will be 4 million 500 thousand rubles.

Those willing to submit an application for participation can already do it by filling the registration form in the corresponding section of the tournament´s official website.

Traditionally Moscow Open programme will include 8 tournaments. This time the festival programme includes:

RSSU Cup – Russian National Cup Stage among men,
RSSU Cup – Russian National Cup Stage among women,
RSSU Amateur Chess Cup,
RSSU Men Veteran Chess Cup,
RSSU Women Veteran Chess Cup,
National Student Chess League Championship,
RSSU Blind and Visually Impaired Rapid Chess Cup,
RSSU School Champion Cup

A blitz tournament will be held on February 6, upon the completion of the main tournaments. Am equivalent children´s tournament will take place on January 26.

The festival will include FIDE seminars for arbiters, a seminar for coaches and a seminar for public school teachers.
