The Team of the Ural State Mining University Took the Lead in the Championship of the National Student League

The Russian State Social University is still enjoying the struggle in the individual and team Championships of the National Student Chess League. Today the games of the seventh round have been played.

Two rounds to finish the Ural State Mining University (Vitaliy Bernadskiy, Alfia Nasybullina) took the lead in the team event. Together they managed to score 10 of 14 points.

epresentatives of the Novosibirsk State University (Roman Kezin, Anna Koshevaya) and the hosts – the Russian State Social University (Akzhan Shopanov, Elena Orshonova) scored 9,5 points. The teams of the North-Eastern Federal University-2 (Vasily Vasilyev, Ayyyna Egorova) and the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism (Tagir Taalaibekov, Ludmila Leolko) remain one point behind the leaders.

FIDE master Roman Kezin (Novosibirsk State University) still tops the table in the individual event. This round he managed to win over the closest rival, international master Maxim Lugovskoy (Kuban State Agrarian University). The leader has 6,5 of possible 7 points. FIDE masters Igor Vakhlamov (Moscow State University) and Zaur Tekeyev (North-Caucasus Federal University) are half a step behind the Kezin. Konstantin Nikologorskiy (Russian State University of Tourism and Services Studies), Vitaliy Bernadskiy (Ural State Mining University) and Alexey Mokshanov (Samara State Aerospace University) scored 5,5 points.

Alfia Nasybullina (Ural State Mining University) and Elena Orshonova (Russian State Social University) are showing the best result in the female part of the competition – 4,5 points. Seven female chess players managed to score 4 points.
